The range of Flanged Flameproof Immersion Heater offers a hazardous area heating solution for oil and similar applications where low heat density is required. The element can be withdrawn for inspection without system drain down. The standard heater consists of a single element core fitted into a mounting flange. A robust flameproof terminal enclosure protects the electrical connections. The watts density of the element core fitted depends upon the media to be heated and the kilowatt rating required.

These heaters are made of Nicrohome wire sealed inside a Steel tubular high-temperature grade pipe, which is compacted along with high-grade MGO allowing it to withstand high insulation resistance, later the element is brazed to a Cast Iron Flange/ Brass flange / SS Flange / and are provided with a Thermostat pocket, earthing terminal, & cap. These heaters are designed to provide efficient heating which ensures that the Oil flash point is not achieved in case of no failure of temp. controller or sensor.
